Boxing Odds – Tyson Should Be Considered Most Exciting Of All Time

WWE Raw fans are definitely familiar with Mike Tyson from his time in the company as a “bodyguard” for Shawn Michaels and D-Generation X, but most of the world knows him as being arguably the best heavyweight of all time. Even if you don’t know think he is the best, you have to consider Tyson as the most exciting.

Back in his day, Tyson was the baddest man on the planet and any good player that used price per head software knew that he was going to be favored every time he stepped into the ring. Tyson won the first 37 fights of his career, but you couldn’t blink because you would miss the festivities. Only four of those first 37 fights went the distance and Tyson ended 23 of them no later than the second round. The best word to summarize Tyson’s early career is “violent”, although you could use that in other areas of his life as well. Tyson was solid technically and he doesn’t get enough credit for that, but his greatest strength was intimidation and most of his opponents were done before they even stepped into the ring. Once Tyson unloaded a flurry, it was usually over.

There have been other exciting fighters, such as Muhammad Ali, Arturo Gatti, Tommy Hearns and nowadays, Manny Pacquiao, but there was no one like Mike Tyson because of his ability to end fights quickly and brutally. It would be interesting to see Tyson’s odds now, if he were in his prime, at your sports betting websites.
