Boxing Odds – Ward Aims To Remain Unbeaten Against Froch In Atlantic City

Fans of WWE Raw can get their fill of combat sports on December 17th as the Super Six Classic World Boxing final takes place in Atlantic City, featuring undefeated Andre Ward and Carl Froch. Ward will put his WBA (Super) super middleweight belt on the line, while Froch will aim to defend his WBC title; the vacant The Ring championship is also up for grabs.

Ward Froch Odds – Saturday, December 17th, 10:00 PM ET

Ward (24-0, 13 KOs) won Olympic gold for the United States in 2004 and since then, he has become the dominant fighter at 168 pounds. He won the WBA title from Mikkel Kessler in the first round and has gone on to dominate Allan Green, Sakio Bika and Arthur Abraham with a stunning combination of technique and speed.

Froch (28-1, 20 KOs) lost the WBC title to Kessler before he defeated Abraham to win it back, and the Englishman can really make a name for himself in the United States by beating Ward. He has already defeated the likes of Jermain Taylor and Andre Dirrell (a close friend of Ward), but a win over Ward would open up a lot of doors for Froch.

Price per head bookmaking odds have Ward as a -340 favorite, while Froch is rated at +270, but he’s a dangerous underdog even though he isn’t well known in America. However, Ward will step into the ring with motivation as he would like to avenge Dirrell’s loss, and a win would make him the clear-cut fighter at 168 pounds. The longer this fight goes, the better and we’re taking Andre Ward to get a decision win in your online sports book.
